Crossing the High Atlas (south east). After Ourzazate we’ll follow arid end deserted landscapes between the High Atlas and the stony Anti Atlas. Then we’ll cross the Skoura palm grove, the rose valley and the Dades valley to reach the Toudrha gorge for the first night. The next day we’ll visit the gorges, the palm grove and Tinhir town before carrying on through the desert to Rissani via Erfoud; birthplace of the Alaouite sharif dynasty and to the huge sand dunes at Merzouga ( Erg Chebbi). We suggest and can provide a two hour dromedary-trek which will enable you to admire a unique sunset. We’ll spend the night under Bedouin tents in the dunes.
The next day after sun rise on the dunes, we’ll cross the Anti-Atlas (plateau and mountains) to reach the Draa valley and the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah for the third night. Fourth day: back to Marrakech through the High atlas and a visit to the cinema studios in Ouarzazate.

Merci, merci mille fois Khalid pour ce magnifique séjour d'où nous revenons aujourd'hui. Nous garderons un merveilleux souvenir de cette semaine passée avec toi dans le désert marocain. Excellent chauffeur et guide, tu connais parfaitement ton pays et tu as su répondre à toutes nos questions. Nous avons sillonné avec toi le Maroc de Fes aux dunes de Merzouga, en passant par le moyen et le haut Atlas. Nous sommes rentrés sur Marrakech en faisant étape entre autres dans des familles de nomades berbères qui sont tes amis et dont tu es un peu l'ange gardien. Les paysages que tu nous as fait découvrir nous ont époustouflés. Plus qu'un guide Khalid, tu le sais, tu es notre ami sincère. C'est la deuxième fois que nous faisions appel à toi et c'est certain, nous reviendrons... Inch' Allah.
